“Səssiz Əl” (Silent Hand) Telemedicine Gastrointestinal Tumor Board is an interdisciplinary platform designed to support the diagnosis and management of complex gastrointestinal tumors in Azerbaijan and neighboring regions. The initiative connects local physicians with international experts through telemedicine, enabling structured, case-based discussions and evidence-based clinical decision-making.

This virtual tumor board brings together specialists in surgical oncology, gastroenterology, radiology, pathology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology to collaboratively evaluate challenging cases. Its primary goal is to improve diagnostic accuracy, optimize treatment strategies, and enhance patient outcomes, including long-term quality of life (QoL).
